Shake well before use.
Polyfort”may affect the absorption of other drugs. The intake with other drugs should be separated by 2-3 hours
Adults: Take 5 — 10mI after meals and at bedtime or as directed by the physician
Children (6 — 12 years): 5mI after meals and at bedtime or as directed by the physician

1. BEFORE YOU TAKE POLYFORT SUSPENSION
Do not take Polyfort’ Suspension if:
- You have previously had an allergic reaction to any of the active ingredient in Polyfort° suspension (An allergic reaction may include rash, itching, swelling of the face)
- You have swelling in the stomach (abdominal distension)
You have low phosphate level (hypophosphatemia
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
- Do not exceed the stated dose
- Caution should be taken in patients with kidney disease
- Consult your Doctor if you have decreased gastrointestinal motility
DRUG INTERACTIONS
Polyfort” may decrease the absorption of other drugs if administered concomitantly. Polyfort” can reduce the absorption of Phenothiazines, Flouroquinilones, Tetracycline, Isoniazid, Antimuscarinics and Vitamin A, thereby, reducing their effectiveness. It may also increase the absorption of drugs like levodopa, thereby causing toxicity

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
At recommended dose, Polyfort’ is usually well tolerated. Most of the side effects are mild and include: constipation, diarrhoea, vomiting, fatigue and rarely weight loss.
