Losartan Hydrochlorothiazide 50mg/12.5 mg, 30 Tablets
Losartan Hydrochlorothiazide 50mg/12.5mg is a combination of an angiotensin II receptor antagonist (losartan) and a diuretic (hydrochlorothiazide). This medication is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure).
Losartan works by preventing the binding of angiotensin II to receptors in blood vessels, causing the blood vessels to relax and lowering blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide works by making the kidneys pass more water and salt, which also helps to reduce blood pressure.
This medication may be used in combination with other medications to control hypertension. It is important to follow the instructions of your doctor or healthcare provider when taking this.
