Anusol Cream – Haemorrhoids Piles Treatment
Anusol cream is a medicine which is used to relieve the swelling, itch and irritation of internal and external piles (haemorrhoids) and other minor ano-rectal conditions such as anal itching and fissures. It can be used post-operatively following ano-rectal surgery.
The active ingredients in Anusol cream are Phenylephrine Hydrochloride, Zinc Oxide, Bismuth Subgallate,Balsam Peru. This product also contains arnica, oils of wintergreen, eucalyptus and peppermint.
Anusol cream works by constricting blood vessels, providing an astringent effect to protect irritated surfaces, soothing local discomfort and reducing inflammation.
For safety reasons do not use Anusol cream if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless advised to do so by your doctor. Also avoid contact with eyes. If this occurs rinse immediately with clean warm water. If symptoms persist consult your doctor or healthcare professional.
