Benylin 4 flu tablets contain a combination of ingredients to provide effective relief from the four main symptoms of flu: fever, body aches and pains, nasal congestion and coughing.
How Benylin 4 Flu Tablets works:
Diphenhydramine helps to relieve a cough and a runny nose, whilst pseudoephedrine causes the blood vessels in the nasal and sinus passages to contract and narrow, reducing congestion and the production of excess mucus.
Paracetamol helps bring down a fever and provide relief from headaches or bodily aches and pains.

How to Use
- Swallow the tablets whole with water.
- Do not chew.
- Only available at the pharmacy counter
Dosage: Adults, the elderly and children 16 years and over: 2 tablets up to 4 times daily as required. Do not take more frequently than every 4 hours
Children 10-15 years: 1 tablet up to 4 times daily as required. Do not take more frequently than every 4 hours
Do not take more than 4 times in any 24 hour period. Do not exceed the stated dose.
Not suitable for children under 10 years of age.

Side Effects
Like all medicines, Benylin 4 Flu Tablets can have
side-effects, although these don’t affect everyone.
If you experience any of the following stop
using this medicine and seek immediate
medical help:
Sudden onset of fever, reddening of the skin, or
many small pustules (possible symptoms of Acute
Generalized Exanthematous Pustulosis – AGEP)
may occur within the first 2 days of treatment with
this medicine (See section 2).
Severe headache, nausea, vomiting, confusion, fits,
visual disturbances.
Allergic reactions including skin rashes such as hives
(which may be severe and include blistering and
peeling of the skin) and itching.
Swelling of the face, lips, mouth, tongue or throat
which may cause difficulty in swallowing or
breathing
Feeling unusually tired, unexpected brusing or
bleeding and getting more infections (such as colds)
than normal.
Hallucinations, paranoid delusions or fits.
Inflamation of the colon due to insufficient blood
supply (ischaemic colitis). Symptoms may include
sudden abdominal pain or rectal bleeding.
If you experience any of the following, stop
using this medicine and talk to your doctor:
A fast or irregular heartbeat or an increased
awareness of the heartbeat (palpitations).
Restlessness or sleep disturbances.
Trouble passing water (especially in men with
prostate problems)

24 Tablets each containing: Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride 12.5 mg, Paracetamol 500 mg, Pseudophedrine Hydrochloride 22.5 mg.
Also contains: Colouring (E110)
