Looking to treat your diarrhoea and get back to your normal life? Look no further than Lodium Capsules. Lodium Capsules, active ingredient Loperamide are a group of medicines called antidiarrhoeals, which work to slow down an overactive bowel and help reduce diarrhoea. This allows your body to absorb water and salts that are usually lost during diarrhoea, helping you get back on your feet in no time. So don’t let diarrhoea get the best of you – reach for Lodium Capsules and get back to living your best life.
Lodium capsules is used to treat:
- short-lived (acute) attacks of diarrhoea
- sudden short lived (acute) attacks of diarrhoea in adults and children over 12 years of age
- episodes of diarrhoea in adults and young people aged 18 and over who have been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
For IBS diarrhoea, you can use this medicine for up to 2 weeks for repeated attacks, but if any one

Replacing fluids and salts
When you have diarrhoea, your body loses large amounts of fluid and salts. In addition to your medicine, you should take more liquids than normal. Drink plenty of clear fluids containing salt and sugar (special oral rehydration powders are available from pharmacists). This is especially important for children, and frail or elderly people.

Pregnancy
If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, you are advised not to take Loperamide. It is not known if it is safe to take, especially during the first 3 months of pregnancy.
Breast-feeding
