Product Information of Renerve Plus

Please do not exceed the daily prescribed dose of medication by your doctor.

Before starting the medication, let your doctor know if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems and other pre-existing medical conditions.

If you experience any unusual symptoms or allergic reactions whilst taking medicine, please discontinue the use and consult your doctor immediately.

Inform your doctor in advance if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding before starting the medication.

Keep the medicine out of reach of children and pets.

Contraindications and Caution

Patients with the following conditions are suggested to seek advice from their health care professionals before taking this medicine

• Hypersensitivity or allergy to Renerve Plus Cap or any of its components
• Allergy to any other drugs
• Leber’s disease
• Liver problems
• Kidney ailments
• Lung problem
• Stomach ulcer
• Ulcer of the duodenum
• Indigestion
• Optic nerve damage
• Iron or folic acid deficiency
• Low levels of potassium in your blood
• Any other ailments or illnesses that you may have

Warnings and Precautions

It is best to take the tablet only on the advice of a medical practitioner. Adjustment of dosage or avoidance of the medication may be required in the following conditions:

Kidney:

safe to use in case of any kidney ailment/disorder? This medicine may make it hard for your kidneys to perform essential tasks like getting rid of waste from the body, keeping your blood pressure steady, making red blood cells. Also, if your kidneys are already damaged, be sure to tell your doctor.

Liver:

safe to use in case of any liver ailment/disorder? This medicine may be unsafe to use by patients with liver ailments. This medicine may harm the liver and people with liver disease may be at increased risk of developing severe complications. Tell your doctor in order to make sure the medicine is helping you and not causing any harm.

Pregnancy:

safe to use in pregnant women? This medicine is generally considered to be quite safe to be used during pregnancy. Even though animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby, it is still not yet conclusive as the studies which have been conducted on humans are limited. Therefore, it should be taken by pregnant women only when recommended by the physician.

Lactation:

safe to use in breastfeeding women? This medicine may be unsafe if you are breastfeeding. This tablet should not be taken unless your doctor says it is necessary to use during breastfeeding. Studies have shown that a small amount of the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Whether Renerve Plus Cap may be used or not by a breast-feeding mother should be decided by the doctor.

Alcohol:

is it okay to consume alcohol during the use of this medicine? Mixing alcohol and medications may increase the risk of adverse reactions or complications, decrease the effectiveness of medications or even render them useless. Interactions of alcohol with drugs may make them harmful or even toxic to the body. Consumption of alcohol is not advisable. Please consult your doctor.

Driving:

does this medicine make you dizzy/ interfere with your sleep? Most people do not realize that many prescription and over-the-counter medicines can cause drowsiness and impair the ability to drive, thus making driving dangerous for themselves and others. If you notice any abnormal changes after ingesting this medicine, it is better to avoid driving. Please consult your doctor before using it.

Food:

Interactions between food and drugs may inadvertently reduce or increase the effect of the drug. Some commonly used herbs, fruits or other ingredients may cause failure of the therapy or even cause serious alterations of the patient’s health. This medicine can be taken with food or without it but it is not known whether there are any interactions with food. Please consult your doctor.

Drug Interactions:

Drug interactions may be dangerous as they could change how your medications work or increase your risk for serious side effects. Be sure to keep a list of all the medicines you use for other illnesses including prescription medicines and herbal products in order to share it with your doctor. Do not start it on your own.
